Statistična značilnost in/ali velikost učinka?

Povzetek

V prispevku predstavljamo dileme o uporabi statistične značilnosti nekega statističnega preizkusa kot edinega merila interpretacije rezultatov in sklepanja ter nekatere mere velikosti učinka kot možnega dopolnila pri interpretaciji rezultatov statistične značilnosti. Pojasnjujemo koncept mer velikosti učinka ter pomen njegove rabe v raziskovanju. Izpostavljamo mere velikosti učinka, za katere menimo, da bi lahko smiselno dopolnjevale najpogosteje uporabljene statistične preizkuse na pedagoškem področju. Opozarjamo tudi na omejitve pri uporabi mer velikosti učinka ter previdnost pri interpretaciji rezultatov.
