Dear Readers,

We are pleased to present a new issue of ANALI PAZU HD, featuring six original scientific contributions from the fields of social sciences, humanities, and biomedical sciences. Despite their thematic diversity, the articles share a common foundation – the pursuit of answers to current social, organisational, historical, environmental, and health-related challenges, as well as a commitment to translating scientific knowledge into practice.

The issue opens with a contribution that employs a historical-analytical approach to shed light on the establishment of the Manoeuvre Structure of National Protection and its role in the process of Slovenia’s independence. Drawing on documentary sources and expert analysis, the author makes an important contribution to a better understanding of one of the key periods in the development of Slovenian statehood.

The second contribution examines the importance of risk management for the business performance of companies in the Pomurje region. The study highlights systematic risk management as an important factor in ensuring long-term competitiveness, business stability, and value creation.

The third contribution presents a qualitative study on the role of primary socialisation in shaping adolescents’ environmental values. The findings emphasise the crucial influence of the family in the development of environmentally responsible behaviour, while also highlighting the importance of schools and the broader social environment in reinforcing sustainability-oriented values.

The fourth contribution addresses the issue of greenwashing, or misleading environmental claims. The authors emphasise the importance of credible sustainability communication and analyse the impact of perceived greenwashing on consumer trust, which represents one of the key issues in contemporary sustainable marketing.

The fifth contribution presents the development and empirical validation of an integrated model of organisational resilience for non-governmental organisations operating in the field of cultural and technical heritage. The study identifies key organisational factors that contribute to the long-term resilience and successful functioning of organisations in a changing social environment.

The issue concludes with an experimental study in the field of pharmacy. The authors investigate the effect of propylene glycol on the permeation of diclofenac through the Strat-M® synthetic membrane. Their findings contribute to the further development of extemporaneously prepared dermal formulations and to the optimisation of their effectiveness.

The contributions published in this issue once again demonstrate that contemporary scientific research transcends the boundaries of individual disciplines. Integrating perspectives from history, management, sustainable development, organisational sciences, and biomedicine enables a more comprehensive understanding of complex societal challenges and encourages the development of innovative solutions with direct practical relevance for both professional practice and research.
