This paper examines musical activities in the integrated curriculum of early childhood education and care settings. The research results show a predominance of structured-reproductive musical activities, mainly music listening. Creative musical activities are significantly less represented, although some statistical differences are evident. Graduate students working with preschool groups implement creative activities more frequently than undergraduate students or those working with nursery groups. The findings suggest further research into the possibilities of active and multimodal music listening, as well as strengthening educators’ musical competences to support children’s holistic development.
