Privlačnosti na podeželju in ruralne spremembe v zmerno toplem pasu Avstralije: posledice za razvoj in trajnost

Povzetek

Mnoga podeželska območja v razvitem svetu se soočajo z izzivi načrtovanja in razvoja, povezanimi s procesi demografskih sprememb. Narava, smer in regionalne manifestacije teh sprememb so močno povezane z različnimi ravnmi lokalne privlačnosti. Te izhajajo iz kvalitet lokalnega socialnega, ekonomskega in fizičnega okolja in prispevajo k sposobnosti podeželskih regij, da privabljajo in obdržijo prebivalce. Po drugi strani prisotnost ali odsotnost te privlačne sposobnosti verjetno povzroča izzive za razvoj in trajnostnost, povezane z rastjo, upadom ali (kjer so privlačne sile demografsko specifične) socialno mešanico. Ta članek obravnava te izzive v kontekstu podeželskih regij z visoko privlačnostjo v zmerni Avstraliji.
