Konfliktna pokrajina in duh kraja: Primer oljk in mestne četrti v Izraelu
Povzetek
Kulturna dediščina in kulturna pokrajina sta nabor človeških produktov, ki odražata potrebe, misli in spomine družbe. Predstavljata in simbolizirata odnose moči in nadzora, iz katerih izhajata, in človeške procese, ki se preoblikujejo in spreminjajo. Takšne preobrazbe ustvarjajo nove kulturne pokrajine in kulturno dediščino, ki pogosto zakrivajo procese – politične, socialne, kulturne, ideološke in ekonomske, ki so jih ustvarili. Namen tega članka je analizirati konfliktno geografsko okolje, kjer dve kulturi, judovska zionistična kultura in arabska muslimanska kultura, tekmujeta za zemljo in njeno kulturno dediščino, zato ima vsaka od njih svoje interpretacije. Cilj je opredeliti pokrajino, njen duh in njeno reprezentacijo, ki izhaja iz teh tekmovalnosti in konfliktov; karakterizirati jo in analizirati njene simbole in uporabe, predvsem z namenom oblikovanja in gradnje identitet.
