This exploratory case study investigates the integration of intercultural English materials in Banyumas elementary schools. Data from teachers and principals across 10 schools (n=20 questionnaires, interviews, and FGD) were analysed using thematic analysis. Findings reveal significant challenges: limited student vocabulary and insufficient culturally relevant materials. However, all respondents unanimously supported developing Banyumas-specific cultural materials incorporating local traditions (traditional foods, wayang, games, folklore). Stakeholders perceived such materials as strengthening language learning and character education aligned with the Pancasila Student Profile. As an exploratory study, this research provides preliminary stakeholder insights.
