Acta Medico-Biotechnica is an open-access journal. All articles are freely available online immediately upon publication. Authors pay no article publication charge (APC).

Open Access policies are registered in the Open Policy Finder database.

Copyright: Authors retain copyright of their articles and grant the journal the right of first publication.

License: Except when otherwise noted, articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0) license, which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited. Notice:
Until 2022, the publisher owned the copyrights, but as of 2022, the author retains the material copyright. From the journal's inception, articles have been open and accessible, with free access.

Self-archiving policy. The journal Aca Medico-Biotechnica allows the authors to deposit and publish published version of the article in an institutional repository, subject based repozitories, on author's personal website (including social networking sites) or departmental websites after publication. Full bibliographic information about the original publication must be provided and a link must be made to the article's DOI.
