View of Remarks on Logical Form
Keywords:
(elementary) proposition, symbol, statement about degree, logic and grammarAbstract
This study of Some Remarks on Logical Form addresses the fundamental thesis at which Wittgenstein arrived after his break with Tractatus logico-philosophicus: that there exists an intra-symbolic difference and that for this reason the symbol in itself does not characterize the sense of the sentence; that a statement concerning degree is an elementary proposition and that propositions concerning degree are mutually exclusive. Through this thesis, the fundamental problems, which occupied Wittgenstein in the Thirties, are presented.
