Abstract

In my article I represent some basic views on the subject and tasks of philosophy that were clarified in time when Ludwig Wittgenstein had intensively collaborated with the members of Vienna circle. This period coincides with Wittgenstein’s breaking with the Tractatus and rising of Vienna circle. I represent origins of their philosophical engagement and differences between Wittgenstein’s comprehension of philosophy in years 1929-1932 and the one of Otto Neurath and Rudolf Carnap in that same period.
