The Problem of Illusionism
Keywords:
consciousness, illusionism, phenomenality, qualia, hard problemAbstract
The paper argues that illusionism as it is established now is not a coherent position. It describes the core problem in philosophy of mind and the weak points of traditional physicalism and thus illustrates the motivation for such radical theory as illusionism. Then the paper introduces the reasoning leading to illusionism, i.e. it describes the initial conditions for establishing it. Finally, the paper argues that strong illusionism is not set up in a satisfactory way.
